like a raisin

In my baby book, I have my umbilical cord, that my mom kept. It’s in a little baggie and looks just like a raisin.

Capri’s umbilical fell off last Sunday, but it doesn’t quite look like a raisin, huh? The clamp they had on it made it look funky. Oh well. It’s still cute, right?! Winking smile

    Your mom was just a head of her time. She started banking cord blood before it was cool to do so.

    Dried blood still contains DNA.
